I built DashcamExport because I was tired of waiting. Waiting for clips to load. Waiting for seeks to complete. Waiting for exports to finish. Your time matters. The app should be ready when you are.
Native or Nothing
I don't do Electron. I don't do cross-platform frameworks. DashcamExport is SwiftUI and Metal, built specifically for macOS. It was harder to build, but it's a better product.
GPU-Accelerated
The entire pipeline runs on Metal. Decoding, compositing, encoding - all on the GPU. Works on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs with Metal support. If your Mac can run macOS 15, it can run DashcamExport.
Ownership
